Sonic Adventure 2 Duel part 2.5
Sonic's First Favor pt. 5

-Eggman had the edge over Tails. Tails was about to draw.
-Eggman – Before you draw Tails, I have a proposition for you.
-Tails – A proposition?
-Eggman – Yes, I know how you keep telling me that you won’t surrender, but do you really want to stick to that?
-Tails paused in confusion.
-Eggman – Think about where you stand. The odds against you winning are slim. Which is why I will offer you a choice. Either you play this duel out, fail, and lose your Chaos Emerald and your life or surrender and give me the Chaos Emerald and I will spare you and Amy. The choice is yours. Do you really want Sonic to see you lose?
-Amy suddenly broke from her trance at the sound of Sonic’s name.
-Tails thought for a moment.
-Tails – (…maybe Eggman is right. Maybe I should give up. Look at me! How can I expect to draw the card I need? I guess I have no choice. Forgive me Sonic, I tried my very best.)
-Tails lifted his hand, preparing to set it on his deck to indicate that he concedes the game.
-Tails – I surren…
-Amy – Tails, No!!!
-Tails – Amy?
-Amy – Tails, don’t you dare quit! Even if you are on the losing edge Sonic wouldn’t want you to give up! If he were you, he would never give up, he would keep fighting till the end.
-Tails – But, Amy –
-Amy – But nothing! You can’t give up Tails. And who is Eggman to say that the next draw won’t change this game! I know you can win Tails, I believe in you, just as much as I’ve always believed in Sonic. Please don’t surrender.
-Tails’ hand was about half an inch above his deck and he began to lift it.
-Tails – Thanks Amy, I needed that.
-Amy nodded and smiled.
-Amy – Take him down.
-Tails – Eggman, there is no way I’m giving up.
-Eggman – Have it your way. I prefer to take my opponents down when they fight their hardest anyway.
-Tails – (Everything rides on this) I draw! I play “Pot of Greed” so I get to draw two cards. (I can win!) Since you destroyed my “Twin-Headed Behemoth”, I can bring it back!
-“Twin-Headed Behemoth” ATK 1500 (decreased to 1000), DEF 1200 (decreased to 1000)
-Tails – Next I sacrifice my “Behemoth” to play “Raiza the Storm Monarch”!
-“Raiza the Storm Monarch” ATK 2400, DEF 1000
-Eggman – That may be the strongest monster you’ve played so far, but it’s still not enough to beat either of my monsters.
-Tails – You’re wrong Eggman, This card will change everything because since I summoned “Raiza”, I can return a card on the field to the top of the card owner’s deck.
-Eggman – What?
-Tails – And I choose “Satellite Cannon”.
-“Satellite Cannon” disappeared from outer space and the card returned to the top of Eggman’s deck.
-Tails – And with your “Cannon” gone, so is your “Ring of Magnetism”.
-Eggman – So what, you still can’t beat my “Covered Core”.
-Tails – Oh yes I can. I play my trap card, “Call of the Haunted”. This allows me to bring a monster back from my Graveyard and I choose my “Rocket Warrior”.
-“Rocket Warrior” ATK 1500, DEF 1300
-Tails – Now “Rocket Warrior”, attack his “Covered Core”!
-“Rocket Warrior” transformed into Rocket Mode and struck a hole in “B.E.S. Covered Core’s” armor. “Rocket Warrior” was unharmed.
-Eggman – What’s going on?
-Tails – When my “Rocket Warrior” attacks a stronger monster, that monster loses five hundred attack points for the rest of the turn and my “Rocket Warrior” survives the battle.
-B.E.S. Covered Core” ATK 2500 (decreased to 2000), DEF 800
-Eggman – This can’t be!
-Tails – Don’t forget Eggman, your “Core” just battled so toss your coin.
-Eggman – Fine! I call tails.
-Eggman flips the coin and it is revealed as heads.
-Eggman – No!
-“B.E.S. Covered Core’s” last two shields disappeared.
-Tails –Now  your “Core” is defenseless. I attack, Go “Raiza”, show “Covered Core” why you are known as “the Storm Monarch,” Almighty Whirlwind!
-“Raiza the Storm Monarch” summoned an emerald-green tornado and destroyed “B.E.S. Covered Core”.
-Tails LP– 300 Eggman LP– 900
-Eggman – It’s not over yet!
-Tails – Actually, it is because I activate my last facedown card, “Full Salvo”! Okay, now I have to discard my entire hand and for each card I discard, you lose two hundred Life Points.
-Eggman – Five cards? I lose one thousand Life Points!
-Tails – That’s right, just enough to take you down, “Full Salvo”, fire, This one’s for Sonic!
-5 missiles fire from the “Full Salvo” card hologram and each dealt two hunderd points of damage to Eggman, taking his Life Points down to zero.
-Tails LP– 300 Eggman LP– 0 TAILS WINS
-Amy – Tails, you did it!
-Tails – Yes, I won!
-Eggman – How… how could this have happened?
-Eggman walked slowly out of the room in shame. Tails and Amy felt good about the victory but they were still saddened about Sonic and they both looked out the window in grief. Neither of them saw Eggman sneak toward Tails’ Cyclone Walker and snag the Chaos Emerald in it. Meanwhile Sonic was standing on the cybernetic path under the vast atmosphere of outer space.
-Sonic – The cannon can’t be to far from here.
-Suddenly someone came up to him, this was Shadow.
-Shadow – You never cease to surprise me blue hedgehog. I thought that the capsule you were in exploded in space.
-Sonic – You know, what can I say… I die hard!
-Sonic held his false Chaos Emerald.
-Sonic – You actually saved me, you know.
-Shadow – It was a Chaos Emerald, wasn’t it? Bur there’s no way you could have activated the Chaos Control using an Emerald that’s fake. So, there’s more to you than just looking like me. What are you anyway?
-Sonic – What you see is what you get! Just a guy that loves adventure! I’m Sonic the Hedgehog!
-Shadow – I see. But you know, I can’t let you live. Your adventuring days are coming to an end.
-Both Sonic and Shadow set their duel disks to duel for the fate of the Earth.
-Sonic, Shadow – Game on! Sonic LP– 8000 Shadow LP– 8000
