Static has had a bit of a change for the new year. The reason for this is because of Stashad (Static's dark side). When Static had battled with Stashad, he almost destroyed him but as a last resort, Stashad had taken Static as a host so he could live on, merging with Static's soul. Because of this, Static had changed from a fun loving, cheerful Pikachu to a depressed one because of the negativity of Stashad. Static had also gained the Dark Rage. Because it was Stashad's power, Static didn't want to use it but when ever he felt enraged, that power took him over, turning him into a brutal and violent fighter. Static was always ashamed of this until he learned that the power doesn't make you who you are, it is how you use it that matters. Static then decided to use his Dark Rage in order to defend the world and his friends. By accepting the darkness inside him, Static's transformation had been completed to what you see here. He now has slightly different gloves and sneakers, the black streaks on his body are a little sharper and longer, the top two tufts on his chest hair are longer and overlap his shoulders, he has two smaller tufts under the lower two tufts on his head (which make him look a little less like a hedgehog), his bangs are less neat and straight and more messy and wavy, and he now has a black highlight on his top bang. Static's change has also made a change in his personality. He is more brooding and serious, though he is still cheerfull and likes to have fun, just not as mcuh. Static has a simply more mature personality.

I think he looks better this way.
